#BYMEspresso ☕️: An Apple A Day Keeps Brazil Away!
Brazil has outright banned the latest iPhone, see why and how this might become a problem.
The new iPhone 14 has just been announced and as the phone makes headlines for a number of tech features, it has also made headlines for a different issue. Brazil has banned the sale of iPhones without a charger.
Apple had removed the iPhone charger from the box and made it a separate accessory that needed to be bought. This was an attempt to reduce their carbon footprint by reducing the size of the box and this invited backlash from several users and countries.
This resistance from countries becomes a problem especially now when new ground-breaking technology is just around the corner and we fear that more backlash might come from the governments and might even encourage the companies to not innovate. For instance, apple is working on an iPhone with no ports, and Samsung is working on a transparent phone will these be resisted?
