Poopy Decision
We all make bad decision but today lets read about someone else's bad decision so we can feel good about ourselves.
Kids can be tough, sometimes they don't want to eat or take a bath and you are tempted to just throw a bucket of water at them. This one company took to a similar approach and decided to poop on kids at the beach, who refuse to use sunscreen!
Wait! Wait! Let me explain. Nivea Kids came up with an ad that showcased a new way of applying sunscreen on children. It was a seagull-like drone that flew around the beach pooping sunscreen on kids so that they could be safe from the sun.
The advertisement wasn’t received well but for good or bad it got a lot of attention and as all great people say, there is no negative publicity. Either way, the video still exists out there haunting the Nivea marketing team.
Although I can’t decide which is worse, the number of people who had to hear this idea and say wow that's great, let’s go ahead with it or that someone came up with an idea like this in the first place, but I do know what would be a good decision - Deciding to follow Brew Your Market.
