COVID has changed lots of things for people, including the ed-tech sector. Think of it like this. A tortoise is moving at a slow pace, but suddenly someone puts him on a skateboard, and now it’s rolling! Something similar happened with the ed-tech sector in India.
Between 2014 to 2019, there were more than 4,450 EdTech startups, but as of 2022, there are over 9,043 EdTech startups in India. As reported by Statista, the present market valuation of the Indian EdTech industry is $2.8 billion and is expected to reach $10.4 billion by 2025.
